I believe I deleted my download folder on my mac book (as I've only had it a week today) and when I dragged the download folder from the finder into the dock, itdefault download folder appears as a blue folder. I however want it to be a stack and to have the pdf icon with the green arrow. So if yall could enlighten me on how to get back the default download folderoriginal download folder icon with the stack effect.

Control click the download file you have put back into the dock and choose "stack".
