I have microsoft security essentials and im really getting tired of it because it doesnt protec me from online and AVG does, should i download it if i should then lend the link, if not then just say so; the reason why i am asking is because i hear it slows down the computer and please give me a review

I imagine you mean fps games with single-player modes? Yes, you're in luck, I know all the best ones. These mostly have online multiplayer also, but you can do single player too.
There are a few that are only single-player, I'll list what I can think of.
Open Arena: this is Quake3. It's a free, open-source version. You can play on quake servers but you can also fight against bots on your own computer.
Sauerbraten: There are lots of single-player maps on this one, because it's easy for users to create them. You have a virtual map editor, you can just go into edit mode and fly around and build the terrain, weapons, powerups, monsters, objects, water, walls, etc.
AssaultCube: similar to Sauerbraten, different single-player maps.
Cube: the two previous oonline games freewarenes are based on this one, again you may as well look cause its maps are different.
Marathon: AlephOne - this one is a bit old and may not impress you but it's better than Doom, so maybe it'll be interesting. It has to be compiled from source. If you don't know how to do that, it's a great opportunity to learn a new skill. There's also Marathon 2 and one other title.
Quake 2: Why bother with Quake2 when Open Arena already is a clone of quake 3? because there's lots of single-player mods for quake2 engine. In fact it's the most-used fps engine for open-source games, except maybe the Unreal engine. For that matter there's lots of open-source single-player Doom content, but I figure you don't want anything that old.
The Hunted: This one is single-player only, in case you're a kid whose parenonline games freewarets won't let them have an online-capable game. It's a horror shooter though.

Well you can if you have cusom firmware. There are many sites you can find just by using google. I googled free psp game downloads and used the 2nd one (sorry don't remember site). In that situation, your system begins swapping, or using free space on your hard disk as backup. The issue is that your hard disk is 1000 times slower, which results in the system seizing up.
As for how much hard disk storage space is used -- contrary to popular beliadobe shockwave player 11 free downloadef, using too much of it doesn't slow the computer down. It's one of those things where you either have enough or don't have enough. If you have enough, your computer runs fine, and if not, things fail catastrophically. I have a product line Id like to get going (gift/home decor type products marketed towards women) and I have all these ideas and designs that Ive done for the products, but I don't know whats the next step? my ideal destiny for my "brand" would be for them to be sold at retail stores nationwide(gift shops/dept stores/etc). Anyways, I heard about setting up a booth at a trade show, but what exactly is a trade show? Would I have to have these products already manufactured? Would the attendees want to place orders right then and there? Or would they only get information for future reference? I only have these ideas and concept designs, I would need to have someone make them professionally, I would assume I would at least have to have a sample product? Here's detailed instructions one that I always use. Been using it for a year with no problems.
First of all, make sure your computer has a DVD drive. If it doesn't, you won't be able to do this. It seems obvious but it's amazing how often it gets overlooked.
If you do have a DVD drive, you will be able to import onto your computer. However, you will need a converter program in order to make it playable on your iPod, since the iPod format is different and DVDs have copy protection format on them.
A good converter to use is DVDfab platinum. Click the link below in order to go to the site, where you can download the trial version. It has worked for me very well, and contains no viruses. The trial version is exactly the same as the fuldownload the moviel version but limited to a 30-day period.
In order to be able to use the trial version for more than 30 days, you will need a program such as date cracker, which I have also provided a link for.
Download and install both programs, then open date cracker. Click “add”, and enter in whatever you want to call the program. Browse on your computer for the DVDfab program, and then tell it to run the program on date cracker. Follow the instructions given. (If you get a run-time error, you did the steps in the wrong order <"Add", then find the program, then enter the run date, then "Run">)
Then run the program through date cracker. Remember to always open it using date cracker, or else it will stop working if 30 days have already gone by.
Put the DVD into the computer, then select iPod format on DVDfab. Change the destination to wherever you want your movie saved, and start the process. 'tis true. a few ways to do it. either way ou will be downloading into a flv format. this was to get rid of some programs that d/l their vids. there are of course new programs. method 1. download a program like 'ultraget video downloader' or 'free flv converter' (which acts as an flv converter as well so you can put the vids onto a device like an ipod.) method 2. go to your temporary internet files and grab the vid from there. method 3. download an add on (if you have firefox) called 'unplug' that will download videos and any other kind of media of lots of sites( ive even downloaded games with it!) (i havnt tried it on youtube tho)

'tis true. a few ways to do it. either way ou will be downloading into a flv format. this was to get rid of some programs that d/l their vids. there are of course new programs. method 1. download a program like 'ultraget video downloader' or 'free flv converter' (which acts as an flv converter as well so you can put the vids onto a device like an ipod.) method 2. go to your temporary internet files and grab the vid from there. method 3. download an add on (if you have firefox) called 'unplug' that will download videos and any other kind of media of lots of sites( ive even downloaded games with it!) (i havnt tried it on youtube tho)

It's so common these days for videos to be embedded in Web pages all over the Internet. Now, many a times, you probably see some cool videos and I'm guessing that you wish you could download them onto your computer, but (sigh!) the content providers do not give the users any option to do so.
And along with that, even if you are able to download the videos, you won’t be able to play them with your Windows Media Player or Real Player, because the smart content providers usually encode their videos in special formats that do not allow playback on mainstream media players. Well, after today, you won't have to worry about any of those things. I'm going to show you all how to beat the content providers at their own game. You will learn how to download videos and convert them to a format that will be playable on your favorite media player. If that sounds good, come along with me!
First, for this, you need to use the Firefox browser. And, as I always keep telling you, it’s an awesome browser and not just for the purpose of this tutorial!
Secondly, you'll need to install a Firefox extension that will let you download videos from different video Web sites. The extension is called Video Downloader and once you install it, just restart Firefox and it’ll be ready to go.
To install the Video Downloader, just click on this
and click the Install Now button.
Once you've got that done, you'll want to test it out by dfree youtube download managerownloading a video. For my example, I'm going to use one from YouTube. So, after we eventually download our YouTube video, we'll want to convert it to a format in which our media player will play. So, for that purpose, we are going to use a conversion software. My choice here would be Media Coder. It’s a relatively popular video converter and it works flawlessly. You can read more about it, download and install it right here.
Now, let’s go to the YouTube video that you want to download. Once you restart Firefox and after installing the extension, you will see a little icon in the status bar at the bottom of your desktop screen.
Click on that icon and a new window will pop up. From there, you will see a button that says "Download Link." Click on that and you will be prompted to save the file. Now, remember, the file you are downloading won’t have a name or an extension, so make sure to fill in a name and use .flv as the extension type, while you are downloading the file. .FLV is the default video extension used by most video sites. You can also rename the file after you have downloaded it, so just remember the folder where you have placed it.
Now that we have the file, all that's left for us to do is convert it to a video format that we can play in Windows Media Player or Winamp. So, go ahead and fire up the Media Coder. Click on the I Agree button for the licence agreement and then click on the Skip Setup Wizard button.
Drag and drop the .flv files that you downloaded from YouTube (or other sites) onto the Media Coder window. Click on the Video tab in the lower left hand section and select X-vid in the format drop down menu.
The last step is to click on the Start button on the top toolbar window to begin the encoding procefree youtube download managerss. The time taken to encode your video is proportional to the size of the video file you have downloaded. When the encoding is completed, you will be prompted by a pop up window. Ok well I've been making videos on my mac book with the built in camera, and i was planning to post them on youtube, but i dont know how. so if someone could please help that would be great! thanks! bye.

So farbfi waste no one has thought up a reasonable way to collect the debris but new designs of hardware are expected to lessen the amount of newly added orbiting debris as satellites finish their useful lifetimes. THe cost of de-orbiting is starting to become an important design factor.
THere are symposiums and seminars about the problem, and you came close to a good idea. There should be an X Prize of millions of dollars put up for the best feasible idea with proven capabilities, as there is for private rocketry, orbiters, lunar landers, etc. But no one is in shape to tender a bid yet. A big prize may be the way to go.

old limewire download 4.18 8My Limewire 4.18.8 won't even open!! Help?!?
Okay so my old limewire wasn't working, so I uninstalled it and downloaded this Limewire 4.18.8 and now this one won't even open! I've clicked on a lot, right-hand clicked and pressed 'Open' and I've tried opening it by going through Start.
